A Level Group Blog
So it’s a new year with the same idea as the last to make a movie essentially. How else can you film without a crew? That was a dilemma I faced the whole year last year because I choose to work alone. I did it last year because I didn’t have the time to be meeting with classmates. Also I didn’t know any students in these classes that I could genuinely trust to put their part in. So I decided to go alone, and really throughout last year that was my only real issue. To be the cameraman, editor and actor. Lucky I had help from a friend mention earlier in blogs of last level (Jaden). When I reviewed my process last year in the CCR I realized how much of a disadvantage it was. Not having people to distribute the workload or to help in filming is difficult. Mainly saying that it’s all on you. When you don’t have others it’s hard to think of idea or solutions that could come from their point of view. However, even after saying all that... I will be doing this project on my own again this year. Even with the disadvantages I pulled through last year. I did fairly well and it reflected in my grade positively. I also still have the problem of no time or trusted peers. I still have my job and athletics that take away meet time. So the only way I would be able to do this task or to contribute I would have to do it on my own. So this year will be a lot of the same as last year, just with a different task. Most importantly I will have one person of help and that will be Jaden again when I am in the film process
