Today I finally began filming. Through all the set back and fighting the deadline. My friend and I were able to film at least 1 minute worth of film. Which isn’t a lot at all. However, with the amount of time I’ve been able to pull together. I think it was a good amount of material. I will be fighting to get the rest of the time. I’m just glad I got the wheel to start turning. Hopefully I won’t face another set back. I don’t think I’ll be able to pull together after another. York is healthy and wasn’t giving any injury troubles today. So on to what we filmed. We basically just got the introduction of the film. About 3 full scenes. Which translates to about 2 pages on my storyboard. We had the beginning walk. Which was hard to figure out the angling to get both me and York in frame. Then the establishing shot at the school was probably the easiest scene. The scene portraying my character enjoying time with his dog and looking back was hard for me. Saying as I am no actor. By far the hardest scene was York’s peeing scene. It’s this one because York hasn’t been walking lately. The route we walked to film is the usual route I take him on normal life walks. So I know where he stops to pee. However, because of the accident he hasn’t walked in weeks and his pattern changed. So took a few tries and what I have isn’t the cleanest, but I’ll make it work
